Description

A Kawachi yao land note (河内八尾飛地札). It was issued by the Numata domain (沼田) in Kozuke province (上野), present day Gunma prefecture. The denomination is one hundred copper mon (銭百文). It dates to the Meiji Period. The obverse has an image of Daikoku at the top and the reverse has depictions of rice plants. See also 88-16-122.35.
