| Description | A Koyasan Daitoku-in temple loan office bill (高野山大徳院御貸附役所手形). This was issued at Mount Koya (高野山) in Kii province (紀伊), present day Wakayama Prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (銀壹匁). It is dated to 1864 CE (元治元年10月 Keio 1 year 10th month, 甲子 kinoe ne). There is a treasure ship at the top of the obverse and an image of Daikoku at the top of the reverse. |
