| Description | An Anmyoji temple food bill (安明寺賄方手形) issued by Yamamura Palace (山村御殿) in Yamato province (大和), present day Nara Prefecture. The denomination is one monme of silver (銀壹匁). It is dated to 1866 CE (慶応弐 Keio 2). The obverse has an image of Bishamonten on the top with two centipedes. Below that appears to be a phoenix in the sky with a kirin below. |
