Description

A Settsu bill of exchange (摂津為替手形). It was issued in Settsu province (摂津) in the city of Nishinomiya (西宮), in present day Hyogo prefecture. The denomination is one hundred copper mon (一銭百文也). It dates to 1860 CE (万延元年 = Man'en 1 year 庚申 kanoe saru = 1860).
