| Description | Icon - Seated Madonna / Virgin Mary and Christ Child flanked behind by 2 winged archangels with swords. Madonna wears red gown, overrobe - green interior, blue exterior with yellow stars and edging, green veil with yellow edging and hold blue cloth. Child wears green gown with yellow edging and hold white object / book (?). Both Madonna and Child have red and yellow halos. Angels hold ends of canopy - red exterior, blue interior - in one hand; white blade with yellow hilt in opposite. Angels in blue garment with yellow collars. Vellum with bright red, blue, green and yellow pigment. |
