| Description | Painted, orange ceramic bowl, large leather ring on bottom, brown leather covered rim around head. Thin leather straps attached to rim and ring creating a cross-like pattern all around drum. Two leather handles attached to straps. Leather is dry and hard, otherwise Per Musical Instrument Card: Pottery hand drum in goblet shape with enamel decoration; goatskin laced across body of goblet. Decoration of birds, flowers, leaves in green, yellow and red; outlined in black on tan background. Red band around top of stem where round body begins. |
