| Description | Lme container. Section of bamboo plugged at both ends with wooden stoppers, the upper pierced to admit lime stick. The bottom plug is carved to represent a crocodile's head; the upper is somewhat hour-glass shaped. Both are painted and so are the woven rattan peel tubes which cover the insertion of the plugs in the bamboo. Said to be used in dances. |
