| Description | Woven bands of brown cotton decorated with feathers, etc. Sash with badly damaged/eaten feather work. Wearer's front fringe - remains of what may have been macaw feathers. Back end fringe is yellow/orange/blue macaw. Central sash fringe is short and of red/pink/white/blue beads and seeds. Front of sash is shortened or folded and basted to reduce length. |
