| Description | "Pottery spindle whorl, brown, Class IIb stemmed." as per register. Design is three wide bands, with two different interior patterns; cross-hatched on the bottom, diagonal lines on the top making a triangle, and circles on the outside. Encircling band with diagonal lines making triangles, with one circle in each. Stem is angled, not vertical, and decorated with a crosshatched band. Clusters of circles are scattered on the flat bottom. |
