Description

A sample of bark used as a yellow dye. A piece of paper with handwriting on it reads on one side: "Case 163-4 Names "Yamein" (Bark) Aporosa villosa Baill, Euphorbiaceae Locality Rangoon, India, 8583 Uses Bark yields a red dye. Ref Watt Dict Econ Prod. India. Vol 1-278". The other side reads: "Case 163-4 Names "Yamein" Aporosa villosa". Another piece of paper has handwriting that says: "BARK yields a RED DYE aporosa villosa BURMA". A label with a yellow background and a red border reads: "APOROSA BARK Yields a red dye.".
