A sample of the roots of yams used for medicine. A piece of paper with French handwriting in black in reads: "Cambodge 5169 Tannants Excroissances Excroissances Cunao ou [Cachou]." This refers to a French publication which has the entry as: "Dioscorea atropurpurea Roxb. Dioscroaceae - Camb. 5169, Cunao ou Cachou (racines)."
