| Description | Small flat circular hat made of bread strips with bamboo narrowing of crown and fastened there with a crudely cut brass (?) plate: the brim is a circular piece of wood painted green into which the wide end of the bamboo strips are fitted: the exterior of the hat is painted in brown laquer with black dashes: a coat of red paint appears to be under the green paint of the brim, the underside is lined with a woven straw supported by a concentric circular frame of bamboo: a blue cotton chin strap is slipped through two metal rings attached to each side with metal fasteners. |
