| Description | Body-sherd from a closed vessel, possibly an alabastron? Fine, light reddish brown (5YR 6/3) clay with a paler surface, with decoration in brown to dark brown paint. Wiped with water (and burnished?). Interior unpainted. Schematic foliate band (FM 64) with double stem below wavy line and band. For the motif see 566 [MS4637.30]. |
