| Description | Fragment of an oinochoe, probably from shoulder area. Buff paste; cream surface with black design. Interior unglazed. Decoration in dull black glaze on exterior. Above, on cream ground, are parts of 3 hatched triangles above 3 wheel painted lines. In the middle, a broad band of glaze. Below, on the cream ground, 3 wheel painted lines, with an area of solid glaze beneath. Very hard, fine, medium brown clay with pink core. |
