| Description | Used for storage of small articles; some were also used to store oils. Lid of gourd is in the shape of a seven pointed star; stem protrudes from the center; blackened concentric circles incised around the stem ( this is from a type of burning technique). Stem end cut out in shape of a 7-pointed star to form lid. Incised and blackened geometric decoration. |
