| Description | Body-sherd from a closed vessel. Fine, very pale brown (10 YR 7/3) clay with a redder core, covered with black paint, with decoration in added white paint. Handmade (?). Painted on exterior. Added white: friexe of running spirals with waves, between bands. The solid white undulating areas are a late MM to early LM I feature. The design is extremely common in MM III, especially in central and eastern Crete. |
