| Description | The center top shows two disembodied eyes representing the sky goddess Our Mother Young Eagle Girl. Below that is a spirit eye (nierica) and a deer head, which depicts the great deer that presides over all deer. A mountain in the upper left sits above rain serpents which sit above a large, black serpent with antlers. Below center is a flame. In the lower right are 4 purple deer below mountains and peyote- a depiction of Wirikuta, a sacred peyote desert. Along the mid right border is a figure reclining. In the upper right corner are serpents. (Furst, 2003 p.87) |
