| Description | Silver in form of lion; clasp and part of pin missing; made of two repousse sheets of thin silver joined along a median line. Coil and pin as well as catch are of one with one of these sheets. Above the catch the union with the two sheets is strengthened by a coil of wire, and probably wire was wound above the spring also. Tail is made of a fine piece of wire inserted between the two sheets and above point where it is inserted there is a circle of wire to hold it more securely; lion's head turned back. |
