| Description | A standing female figure with rosary in left hand and book in the right hand. Wears a royal headdress. The finial resembles the head of a bird, possibly a hamsa. Cast in one piece with circular base. Probably made as an effigy for the relic chamber of a pagoda dedicated to Sarasvati, the Hindu goddess who is the keeper of the tripitaka texts in Buddhism. |
