| Description | Head of eagle (?) . Upper part of mask made of a single board, split 11 cm. behind tip of beak; held apart in concave curves by nailed struts; nailed also at start of split. Movable lower jaw made in same way, attached by two rawhide loops. Black: around eyes and pupils, long eyebrows, sweeping reversed S curves from black upper beak to angle of jaw, line along bottom of lower beak to black angle of jaw. RED paint: outline of mouth and above, spots all around eye area. |
