| Description | Wooden, carved suspension hook. Geometric carvings on body of hook in the forms of lines, triangles and X's. The top of the hook is pointed and around the neck is wrapped a piece of twisted plant fiber, part of the fiber has broken off, yet remains with object. Attached to a rafter or to one of the wall timbers, these hooks are used for hanging up wooden vessels, pots, baskets, weapons, etc. |
