| Description | Ceramic female doll. Head has horsehair (?), held in place by double strand of thread, anchored to neck beads. The beads are blue and white glass (alternating) in a four-strand necklace. Face decorated in red painted design. Chest, shoulders, back are decorated with red vertical lines. Hands clasped across chest. Doll is wearing a blue cotton underskirt; a red and blue plaid woolen skirt, wrapped with numerous strands of brown twine; and a tan muslin overskirt. |
