| Description | Pottery. Oblong, with two large orifices and dividing septum. Each half almost square. Two large oblong holes in septum connecting vessels. Flat base, almost straight [slightly convex] sides with sharp corners. Sloping shoulders; one orifice round, other square. Painted dark brown on buff: geometric designs on shoulders, animals [deer] on sides. Carelessly shaped. Polacca Polychrome ca. 1870-1900 AD |
