| Description | Rectangular board, carved and painted green, brown and red, with border of repeated white lozenges on black. Scene of ten men holding over their heads a rope with which they are dragging the hull of a canoe from left to right. At right, the water, with two canoes with sails. Name of the artist, NGIRAIBUUH, carved in box at top right. The board illustrates a story (of which there are two) in which a newly made canoe becomes stuck in a taro swamp on its way to the water and has to be freed with magical words.
