| Description | Two huipil panels joined together. No head passage. White cotton brocaded in geometric patterns. One green selvedge, one purple and orange striped selvedge. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 50 epi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 26 ppi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced, two faced at the shoulder bands. Two panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
