| Description | Wall hanging, kalaga. Black velvet with applique and embroidery including back stitch. Cotton, silk, colored braid, sequins and gold thread used in ornamentation. Image is a scene from the Ramayana. Lakshmana with a bow and arrow and Hanuman, monkey king, carries a piece of a mountain. Monkeys and ogres carrying spears, short sticks and a flag. |
