| Description | "Lipped" type. In this example the edge of the head oppposite to the 'lip' is suited for the delivery of a cleaving blow; the 'lip' for effecting, with the weight of the club and the strength of a powerful Fijian behind it, a deep wound in the head of the body. The shaft is covered with a neat lashing of coconut fibre sennit. |
