| Description | Phoenix panel from a late Qing woman's skirt, cut out and made up with borders for sale. Nice workmanship and contains most of the decorative elements found on late squares, except the sum; but shape is wrong and this bird is never found on Qing official squares (nor on a noble-woman's after c. 1660) |
