| Description | CBS Register: fragment of terracotta figurine. naked male figurine seated with lion and skin (Gilgamesh) PBS XVI: Heracles with the lion's skin over his left arm. He has no weapon but he holds by the neck a lion's cub, as an amusing variant of his lion killing. The body is well modelled. The muscles have the exuberant relief found in the Hercules Farnese. molded. |
