| Description | Ceremonial huipil of white cotton ground with red stripes. Brocaded geometric designs. Neck opening overcast in purple. Machine stitching around armholes, neck and hem. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 26 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Red has four singles. Weft: 22 ppi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, one with two selvedges, one with three selvedges." |
