| Description | Bone pointed arrow. Barbed cassowary bone point (facing the concave surface, 10 barbs on right, 15 on left). Hardwood foreshaft with incised ecoration filled with white clay, plaited fiber rings top and bottom. Pitpit shaft, painted with a black and white checker pattern just below foreshaft. Gnetum lashings, coated with resin. Tassel of yellowish feathers from the greater bird of paradise attached to uppermost point binding. Used for small or large game in fighting. |
