| Description | Vermeule: Emerald. Intaglio. (Modern silvered ring setting) A female standing to left, a sword in her left arm, a severed head in her extended right hand. Since the work is definitely Graeco-Roman, this is neither Judith or Salome. A province with the head of a captured Parthian or Dacian is undoubtedly intended. Graeco-Roman: Roman Imperial. |
