| Description | Genucilia plate; star painted in tondo; red figure. Broad foot with raised edge; short, thick stem. Shallow receptacle with relatively borad rim, convex above. Glazed: edge of foot; band on underside of dish; overhang of rim; and glazed decoration of top surfaces. In center of top is a large four armed asterisk with 3 dots in each quadrant. On the rim is a wave pattern with 5 crests. Intact. Fine yellow-buff slip. |
