| Description | Parade shield ("Ras") of leather and brass. Shield is in typical Ethiopian circular dome shape. Exterior is covered with incised and filigreed brass platelets: 2 concentric bands of brass, raised domes and rectangular plates in a row and a number of long oblong platelets which extend to the rim of the shield. All the brass platelets are attached with brass tacks. |
