| Description | Red and white plain weave cotton cloth in two breadths stitched together with red cotton thread. Yellow-green stripe at center and both edges. Loose warp threads fringed at one end. Embroidered geometric forms in center. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 50 epi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Single, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 28 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Single, Z twist, white cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Two panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
