| Description | Shaped much like an Eastern Woodland's bark canoe type. Prow and stern alike; curved at bottom, tops very slightly higher than gunwales at center of boat. (Variation of Waterman's "Knockabout" type? See 29-175-366) A hole pierces each end, small piece of wood nailed across top of one end. Sides and interior painted red. Broad band along gunwales on exterior thicker than below and painted black. |
