| Description | Many skeins of dark blue thread tied in certain spots with plastic string. The ends are tied up so that it forms a big loop. It includes nineteen spools with dark blue, white flecked thread, seven spools with dark blue, and three empty spools. These are cross-wise threads for weaving in the Ikat technique. The spools are made of Aganosma marginata G. Don. (เครือไส้ตัน). They are used in conjunction with the loom 82-7-242.1 to create an indigo resist dyed ikat design. |
