| Description | Envelope shape with cover which fits over the top. Split reed, natural color and purple; fine basket weave. A handle of plaited reed is attached to each side of the bag from the bottom to the top and passes through a slit in each side of the cover. Dr. Johnson says: "Made in Benguela and used for all kinds of purposes on trips for carrying small objects, etc." |
