| Description | Rim fragment of a large base. Buff clay, matt paint, brownish-black. On the projecting rim, oblique diagonals between band at inner and outer edge. Below rim, two broad bands encircling the vase; below these indications of a "metope" pattern consisting of vertical divisions and double lines oblique, between these and the encircling lines above, at an angle ca. 45 degrees. |
