Snuff Holder

Small horn; dark brown in color; smooth surface; base of horn is wide and has an oval shaped opening; on both side of base is carved a human face-one side is of a triangular shaped face with diamond shaped eyes, trinangular nose, and short horizontal notch representing the mouth; on other side are two sets of diamond shaped eyes, and two triangular shaped nose's(one on top of the other); horn tapers to a point.

Snuff is made by pounding green tobacco leaves in a mortar. It is taken chiefly by the men, most of whom have the upper lip plastered with snuff, like a green moustache.
