| Description | Qal'at Haj Muhammad ware. Recurved side of bowl. Drab ware, probably cream slip on both surfaces though this shows on the sherd only on the exterior base and in a narrow vertical band at the edge, which seems to indicate that the painted decoration on the exterior was in wide panels. Exterior; green and yellow paint in irregular, blurred cross-hatching. Interior: green, maroon, and a little yellow paint in a smaller, more definite cross-hatching. |
