| Description | Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio, color lapis lazuli. Amor drawn in a quadriga by four goats. Antique Pastes, Case WWW. Vermeule: Paste (?). Color of Lapis Lazuli. Intaglio. (Unmounted). Herakles and Helios (?). Herakles stands in front of the quadriga which Helios is driving toward the right. Graeco-Roman, the scene is difficult to see and therefore the interpretation is questionable. |
