| Description | Thit-tha papu. Wood carving of a figure of a prince with she bayet and nauk bayet (front and back collar piece), chetphon (front piece) at the waist, and a gaung baung (a silk kerchief used as a turban) over his youn (hair) knot. Double-string of two-row pale-badee (string of pearls) hang from the neck. The dagger in the right hand is not an original piece of the sculpture. He was probably carrying a lay (bow), holding one end in the right hand, and the other end in the left hand. |
