| Description | Plaid sarong with figures (tembe paleka-salunka). Predyed synthetic (nggoli). Machine sewn. Made in 1983, Keto Rasa hamlet. Dark red, with allover pattern of golden yellow, white and light yellow figures: alternating rows of nested diamonds and morifs consisting of pairs of diamonds connected by lines bisected by zig-zags. Panel defined by zig-zags (nagi) of golden yellow, white and light yellow. In the center, rows of trees and motifs consisting of two solid triangles connected by stepped lines. Border stripes golden yellow. |
