Plaque

Ivory fragments, approximately 23 pieces; appears to be a winged bull with rosettes in low relief.

Muscarella Publication: "Badly damaged and pockmarked fragment of a bull exactly like no. 214, right. Here we see that the belly and the base of the tail have spiral curls, and the rump has incised circles; the eye is oval. This bull seems to have a wing placed horizontally rather than flaring up. The head of the bull touches a tree whose flowers are depicted as incised rosettes, as above. To the right of the tree is the wing tip of another winged bull striding right: thus the bulls and trees alternated. Plain top and left edges are intact: no dowel holes are extant. Irregular scoring on the reverse."

To its right is a typical tree with rosettes; between it and the bull are visible three small wings, two projecting up, one down, which could be from a four-winged genius (?), the body part of which is now damaged."
