| Description | Shield. Kelevit takang. Kelevit: shield. Rectangular wooden shield with pointed ends. Flat planes of the sides meet at an angle to form a longitudinal median ridge on the front. In the middle of the back a vertical hardwood handle. Painted on both sides. On front, a demonic figure with round staring eyes and curved fangs. On the back, a pair of attenuated human figures with elaborate hair or headdresses. |
