| Description | Fragments of a bowl with inturned rim. Black ware burning brown; slip on both surfaces burning brown on the interior and red on the exterior. Just below the rim on the exterior is a reserved band which contains a decoration in red slip in a chevron pattern. Both surfaces, with the exception of the reserved band, have lustrous burnishing. Handmade. |
