Description

"Dhokra" style cast bronze figure of the Hindu deity Ganesha, elephant-headed son of Shiva and "Remover of Obstacles." Standing, with a haloed crown and four arms, pot belly, and elaborate jewelry and scarves, wearing a dhoti. Made (Lee Horne attribution) by Ganesh Karmakar.
