| Description | A) Naked youth with spear leaning on shield. Youth is in three-quarter view, stance toward right but head facing back to left, left foot forward. Spear is set on ground; he holds it vertically with his left hand. Right forearm and elbow rest on top of shield which is also in three-quarter view. B) Naked youth in three-quarter view facing left. Left leg straight but right leg bent, right foot behind left foot. Spear set on ground; he holds it vertically with left hand. Right forearm at right angles to body, pointing forward. Beneath handles on either side is a large palmette. On shoulder is a wave pattern. On neck, A and B, is a profile female head facing left. Intact. No added colors employed. |
