| Description | Part of a child's tunic. Rectangular shoulder panels, part of tunic. 2 selvadges, strange. (See also E1445P) Warp: \ wool; ud Weft: \, \/ linen; ud: \ wool; ud, brown, dark-blue & red, grey. Red neck cord. Technique: Tapestry over 1 warp. Emb. with \/ linen and grey wool; 2 edge cords on each side. Alternate ovals and oblongs filled with interlace. See Class II (E 1443, card 4) for border. |
